About

Welcome. I'm grateful you're reading this. Having a web presence is smart business in my work, but it's also pretty cool. Bottom-line of this "About" section: I'm Malcolm W. Campbell, a Senior Lecturer at UNC-Charlotte in the Writing Program, a family man, outdoorsman, writer, reader, survivor of nine seasons coaching junior soccer, and a nice guy. My car has one bumper sticker: "Read."

Eventually, prior to the release of my debut novel, Light from the Mainland, I'll rework this website. Everything will be snazzier. There will be a new background. My About section will change, I'll add new tabs, delete others. I'll miss the plain, do-it-yourself simplicity of this layout; however, progress, progress, et cetera.
